My use of minimal color on this project made the pictures seem more serious and sharp, instead of just normal photos. Using black and white made them also look more "clean', a common theme regarding this current situation we're all in. I used emphasis to maximize the focus on the main focal point of each photo (food, toilet paper/paper towels, gloves). The filters really helped with that, to draw the viewer's attention to what I want them to look at. Preparation and methods to stop the virus from getting into my home was my main inspiration for these photographs. Showing the abundance of products my family has emphasizes the serious precautions people have been taking to keep themselves safe. I find the idea was pretty successful, it was surprisingly easy to convey my viewpoint because of how much my family's prepared for this. I learned from this unit how to upgrade a photo from something taken on a phone camera to a genuinely good photo, with a focal point and detailed editing.

I think you did a great job framing these photos, I can tell you really used the rule of thirds to enhance your photos. I love the picture of your pantry, it looks like there is a gradient because the photo is lighter at the top and darker at the bottoms.

I love the techniques you made sure to use while taking these photos! Your photos ended up great, my personal favorite being the paper towel one because of the slightly different hues used in order to draw attention.

I like the different methods used on the images, such as adding different shades and gradients. This makes the images more interesting.

I love the one with the paper towels and how you made the colors of the packaging pop out from the rest of the photo!
